Biodex Unweighing System

Biodex unweighing system

Recovering from an injury or surgery often involves extensive rehabilitation that has to start as quickly as possible. However, many patients are not ready for the stress of an extensive exercise routine. The Biodex Unweighing System allows a patient to put less weight on his or her injuries while performing rehabilitative exercises in a safe, secure, upright position as it incorporates a dynamic suspension system that holds and supports a patients body weight whilst also allowing for normal gait during rehabilitation exercises. The partial weight-bearing therapy is easily conducted with convenient access to the patient for manual assistance and observation with weight being gradually added as the injury improves faster and range of motion will be restored sooner. Physiotherapists are not devoting all their time to physically supporting patients during their workouts, they can concentrate on proper body movement.

The Octane XR6000 seated cross-trainer

The Octane XR6000 seated cross-trainer can be used for upper body only (pushing/pulling), lower body only, or for total body, and can go forwards and backwards.
This means it is ideal for rehabilitation work and for the physiotherapists who need to cater for a wide range of users. The patients can enjoy a varied workout without overloading any muscle group and can focus on the different areas they need to develop/rebuild and do the exercises whilst seated. The Octane cross trainer has the ability to support a wide variety patients for example military amputees.
